Finally got a small window of opportunity (it was about the size of a Barbie's House window, but it sufficed) to work on my BigFatRobot site. The very talented SalmonMoose was kind enough to help me integrate my blog into the site. He whipped up some clever PHPy stuff, popped in a few includes - poof - blog magic happens, without the need for Wordpress.
Granted, it needs a little more CSSenating, but I'm happy as Larry at a Happy Larry convention in Larryville.
